Born and raised in West Texas, I'm from a large family full of military and police officers who share conservative family values. As a retiree from the Texas DOT, my father instilled in me the importance of public service and making sure we have infrastructure to support growing cities. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and enlisted in the US Navy’s special programs. I have worked as a cybersecurity engineer for over ten years, and my career has taken me all around the country. I have one daughter who is now in college.

When I moved to Wilmington four years ago, I immediately fell in love with the coastal, southern charm. But I quickly noticed that crime was getting worse. I’ve seen people being harassed by homeless people downtown, and I hear countless stories from business owners who are afraid to close up at night.

I'm not a realtor or developer. I'm just an average guy who's fired up to clean up Wilmington. I've seen our leaders kick the can down the road on homelessness, public safety, infrastructure and growth. I've put my hat in the ring to fight for small business owners, veterans, first responders, and for our children because enough is enough.
